YOUR ITINERARY

Day 01 Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

Start your trip at 8:30 AM. Take the road to Merzouga, throughout the road to Merzouga village, we will pass by Ifrane, stopping to see the cedar tree forest and the local Barbary monkeys. We will also pass the American- Moroccan University Al Akhawayen, which was built by the Saudis. We will have lunch during our journey in the Ziz Valley or at another local town on the road to the Sahara Desert. We will continue along the road to Merzouga and arrive before sunset. Take the road to Erfoud. Visit the Royal Palace gate. Enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the Borj-Est that rises 935 m (3067 feet) above the city. Arrive in Merzouga. Explore the beauty of the desert.

Day 02 Merzouga Tour with 4X4

After breakfast we will head to the village of Kamlia, famous for its inhabitants from black Africa and their music. This village is also famous for the festival of music and dance that takes place every year during the first week of August. From here you will go to see the lake Dayet Srji with its pink flamingos. You will visit nomad family where we will eat a Berber pizza for lunch with its 44 spices .You will returning to the camp to relax before taking the camels for a trek into the dunes to see watch the sunset . dinner and then you can take a walk up the big dunes of 300m to see the stars, shooting stars, and if you are lucky even the Milky Way. Truly amazing!

Day 03 Merzouga–Tinghir–Kelaa Mgouna- Ouarzazate

You’ll start your day with a visit to Rissani, the old Sijilmassa, the economic capital of Morocco where the caravans used to depart through the desert and where it still holds a market known in particular for the sale of medicines, donkeys and Berbers. Here you also find many traditional kasbahs and other buildings. For lunch, you will experience directly the hospitality of the locals. Soon after, we will head back to Ouarzazate, this time from a different direction from the first leg, passing through the village of NKob and the valley of the Draa. You get to Ouarzazate where you will spend the night .

Day 04 Ouarzazate, Kasbah Taourirt, Marrakech

After breakfast you will visit Ouarzazate. You can see the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios, the largest and most famous film studios in all of Africa. From here, you can stop at the Oasis of Fint, a few kilometres from Ouarzazate. We then continue on the road of TizinTichka stopping for lunch in a small village. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
