Departure from Marrakech at 8h00 AM towards the Toubkal, which is at an altitude of 4176m. It is the highest summit in the whole of North Africa. In the mid-slope, we will find old villages’ houses made from clay. The road to Imlil via Tahanaout and the Moulay Brahim Gorges’ it’s an amazing landscape full of mountains where Berber villages are located all along their summit. Every village is nestled against the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in the shape of steps, which makes for some attractive architecture. Road through Asni, a Berber village at the heart of the Atlas, administrative centre and market for the local population of the surrounding mountains. Lunch in Asni. Drive until the circus of Aremd, a green region, at the foot of a village built with red rocks on an old glacial bar blocking the whole valley. Continue the entire downhill beside a mountain stream and then continuing alongside a small irrigation canal under the Walnut trees until we reach Targua timoulay. After that, our ride is finished at Imlil village, and we will return to our vehicles and head back to Marrakech at the end of the day.
