Day 01 Casablanca Arrival – Pick up from the airport to the hotel

After your rest, depending on your flight time, You’ll have a guided visit to Hassan II Mosque: one of the most impressive religious and cultural sites anywhere in the world, constructed on the sea and dominated by the highest minaret of the world at 210m. Half of the mosque lies on reclaimed land over the Atlantic Ocean and part of the mosque's floor is made of glass so worshippers can kneel and pray directly over the sea.

Day 02 Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Rabat, today we explore Rabat which is the administrative and political capital. You’ll tour the Hassan Tower; Mohamed V Mausoleum which is decorated with marble, also gold and onyx leaf, the Oudayas Kasbah and the King Palace and old Medina. You’ll have a visit to the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg , this magnificent river marina is paved with famous historical sites like the esplanade of the Hassan Tower and the picturesque Chellah necropolis, which has witnessed many Mediterranean civilisations pass by. Outfitted with the most modern equipment to host up to 240 boats, the Bouregreg Marina aims to become an essential destination for recreational boaters seeking long stays or just an unforgettable stop over on their way to West Africa, the Caribbean or the shores of North America.

Day 03 Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After having your breakfast, you’ll take the road to Meknes and Volubilis. Arrive in Meknes. Have lunch in the Nouvelle Ville of Meknes at a restaurant. Enjoy Moroccan cuisine and a variety of local wines from the Meknes region. After lunch, begin your visit at the 18th Century Palace built by Sultan Mohammed Ben Abdallah. Next, pass through Bab Mansour, the triumphal arch, and enter Place El-Hedime, the Square of Ruins, which links the medina and the Kasbah. The square is lined with modern residential buildings and a covered food souk. Visit the Musée Dar Jamaï. The Dar Jamai museum shows modern Moroccan arts, woodwork, ceramics, carpets, costumes, jewelry, and metalwork. The sophisticated building was once a palace incorporating a mosque, menzah, courtyard, kitchen, and hammam. Visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis . Enjoy tea at the small coffee shop that sits just below the Volubilis ruins before taking the road to Fes.

Day 04 Fes Guided Historical Tour: Souks, Jewish Heritage Sites

Visit the Merenids Tombs of Fes . Next, enter Bab el Ftouh, the Gateway of the Aperture, to explore the Andalusian quarter, a residential part of the medina laced with monuments. Stroll through the Fès el Jedid, a Kasbah that functioned as Morocco’s administrative center until 1912. Explore the royal palace and many interesting neighborhoods, including the Moulay Abdalllah Quarter, the Jewish Mellah, and the new Medina. Visit Medrasa Bou Inania, an Islamic school founded by Abu Inan Faris that is beautifully decorated from floor to ceiling. Visit University of al- Karaouine . You will see many tanned hides colored with natural pigments of all shades and hues.

Day 05 Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

Take the road to Merzouga. Throughout the road to Merzouga village, we will pass by Ifrane, stopping to see the cedar tree forest and the local Barbary monkeys. We will also pass the American- Moroccan University Al Akhawayen, which was built by the Saudis. We will have lunch during our journey in the Ziz Valley or at another local town on the road to the Sahara Desert. We will continue along the road to Merzouga and arrive before sunset. Erfoud is a cinematic inspiration for movie directors. Many movies have been filmed in Erfoud, including Prince of Persia, March or Die, and The Mummy. Arrive in Merzouga. Explore the beauty of the desert.

Day 06 Merzouga – Dades Valley – Skoura-Ouarzazate

Take the road to explore Merzouga’s desert scenery by piste. Visit the village of Ait Ouzzine, located in N’kob nestled within the Middle Atlas Mountains. Then, up to Tinghir, which is a Berber village inhabited by Berbere families who live in beautifully painted crenelated Kasbahs and tend to their henna fields, water wells, livestock, and gardens. This peaceful village is tucked away along an impressive desert road connecting the Draa Valley, Tansikht, and Rissani. Later on we’ll Take the road through the Draa Valley back to Skoura where we can have lunch. Then, continuing to Ouarzazat where we’ll have the overnight.

Day 07 Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Take the road to Marrakech you will pass by the olive groves the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Built by the French in the 1920’s, the Tizi n’Tichka Pass will take you through stunning mountainous terrain. Along the route you will see panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains as well as fertile valleys, blue and red colored villages, and striking geology. On the road we’ll stop for lunch and visit the Argan Cooperative where argan oil, argan butter, and argan cosmetics are made by hand from argan nuts. Berber women crack the nuts and the grind them one by one. Enjoy a complimentary tasting. This cooperative is run entirely by women. Arrive in Marrakech.

Day 08 Marrakech Airport

Marrakech Historical Tour: The Moroccan Gardens of Yves Saint Laurent and Koutoubia, Historic Sites, Monuments, the Grand Medina and its Lively SouksVisit the Majorelle Gardens. The Majorelle Gardens, previously the Jardin Bou Saf, bears its name from its original creator, Jacques Majorelle, the French expatriate artist who was born in Nancy, France, in 1886. Jacques Majorelle was the son of the celebrated Art Nouveau furniture designer Louis Majorelle. See the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens. TheKoutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakech. Experience the Jewish Mellah. Founded in 1558 by Moulay Abdallah, the Mellah district was designated as the Jewish quarter in Marrakech. Visit El Bahia Palace. Visit the Saadian Tombs.

Day 09 Marrakech Departure to Coastal Essaouira for a Family Get Away on the Coast

The journey to this former Portuguese fishing village offers up only a few roadside towns and the occasional Berber village. In the ’60s and ’70s, Essaouira was a pitstop on the hippie trek from Marrakesh. Jimi Hendrix made the pilgrimage, as did Boband Cat Stevens. Essaouira was the inspiration for Hendrix’s song “Castles Made of Sand”. Visit this sea-side medieval town that boasts lovely white- washed and blue-shuttered houses, colonnades, thuya wood workshops, art galleries and mouthwatering seafood. Return to Marrakech in the evening.

Day 10 Marrakech Deaprture to Casablanca Airport

Depending on your flight schedules, we’ll transfer you to the Airport of Mohammed V in Casablanca, and help you with registration formalities and special flight requirements before your departure.
