Day 01 Arrival  AT CASABLANCA  airport 

After your rest, depending on your flight time, You’ll have a guided visit to Hassan II Mosque: one of the most impressive religious and cultural sites anywhere in the world, constructed on the sea and dominated by the highest minaret of the world at 210m. Half of the mosque lies on reclaimed land over the Atlantic Ocean and part of the mosque’s floor is made of glass so worshippers can kneel and pray directly over the sea.

Day 02 Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Rabat, today we explore Rabat which is the administrative and political capital. You’ll tour the Hassan Tower; Mohamed V Mausoleum which is decorated with marble, also gold and onyx leaf, the Oudayas Kasbah and the King Palace and old Medina. You’ll have a visit to the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, this magnificent river marina is paved with famous historical sites like the esplanade of the Hassan Tower and the picturesque Chellah necropolis, which has witnessed many Mediterranean civilisations pass by. Outfitted with the most modern equipment to host up to 240 boats, the Bouregreg Marina aims to become an essential destination for recreational boaters seeking long stays or just an unforgettable stop over on their way to West Africa, the Caribbean or the shores of North America.

Day 03 Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After having your breakfast, you’ll take the road to Meknes and Volubilis. Arrive in Meknes. Have lunch in the Nouvelle Ville of Meknes at a restaurant. Enjoy Moroccan cuisine and a Visit the Musée Dar Jamaï. The Dar Jamai museum shows modern Moroccan . Visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. The breathtaking archaeological site of Volubilis, also referred to as Oualili, was once a thriving town occupied by the Romans. Volubilis has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and gained international acclaim when Martin Scorsese made it a feature location for the film The Last Temptation of Christ. Discover the fascinating Roman ruins adorned with beautiful mosaics and colorful tiles depicting Roman mythology. The ruins are spread out across several acres and what remain visible are several fragments of wall, parts of massive columns, the capitol, the basilica, and a triumphal arch. The ruins reveal how the Roman Empire transformed the original Carthaginian settlement into a typical Roman city complete with mansions, a town center, a triumphal arch, and temples devoted to Roman gods. take  the road to Fes.

Day 04 Fes Guided Historical Tour

Visit the Merenids Tombs of Fes. Next, stop at the Museum of the Armes located in an old fortress. On display are 8,000 pieces of artillery from Makina, the arsenal built by Moulay Hassan I. Enter the Fes el-Bali through the symmetrical horseshoe arches at Bab Boujeloud, the Blue Gate. Upon entering Rue Talaa Kebira, the main street in the medina, you will see lines of shops covered by canopies. Make your way to the University of al-Karaouine, the oldest continually operating university in the world. Then, visit Dar el-Magana, a 14th century water clock and Zaouia el Tijaniya, the shrine and tomb of Ahmed el Tijani. Stop to visit the Ech Cherabliyine Mosque, Mosque of the Slipper-Makers, then browse the souks selling henna, slippers, caftans, silks, jewelry, and spices. Tour the Najjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts housed in a beautifully restored foundouk, an ancient style of hotel for merchants. Stop for lunch within the medina at one of the fine Moroccan palace-style restaurants that serves an extravaganza of mezzes for lunch. After lunch, visit the Museum Dar el-Batha to view the impressive collections of pottery, leatherwork, woodwork, books, and Handmade from the nineteenth century. Next, enter Bab el Ftouh, the Gateway of the Aperture, to explore the Andalusian quarter, a residential part of the medina laced with monuments. Stroll through the Fès el Jedid, a Kasbah that functioned as Morocco’s administrative center until 1912. Explore the royal palace and many interesting neighborhoods, including the Moulay Abdalllah Quarter, the Jewish Mellah, and the new Medina.

Day 05 Fes Guided Historical Tour

 

Visit Majestic Palaces and Andalusian Gardens Visit Batha Museum and Andalusian Garden. Visit Palais Mokri. Palais Mokri, also referred to as “El Mokri Palace”, is a landmark in Fes. Built around 1906 by If Tayeb El Mokri, son of the Grand Vizier (Prime Minister) of the king and himself Pasha of Casablanca, this residence covers about 220 meters of Fasis architecture and a gardens. Visit Jnane S’bil Garden and Les Jardins De Biehn, an Andalusian Garden (if time allows)

Visit Medrasa Bou Inania, an Islamic school founded by Abu Inan Faris that is beautifully decorated from floor to ceiling. Visit University of al-Karaouine. Founded in 859, this university is one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of the Muslim world, and is considered the oldest continuously operating institution of higher learning in the world. Visit the Chourara, or the Tanner’s Quarters, one of the most lively and picturesque souks in Fes. Located near the Wadi Fes and far from residential areas due to the tannery smell. See the wide array of local leatherwork, an authentic tradition of Fes. Visit the Dyers Souk, a dyers market, located along Rue de Centuries, is the best place to see the dying vats which have been used for centuries to dye cloth and sheep, goat, cow, and camel leather. You will see many tanned hides colored with natural pigments of all shades and hues.

Day 06 Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Erfoud – Merzouga

Take the road to Merzouga. Throughout the road to Merzouga village, we will passby Ifrane, stopping to see the cedar tree forest and the local Barbary monkeys. We will also pass the American- Moroccan University Al Akhawayen, which was built by the Saudis. We will have lunch during our journey in the Ziz Valley or at another local town on the road to the Sahara Desert. We will continue along the road to Merzouga and arrive before sunset. Take the road to Erfoud, dunes, and Rocky Mountains. Erfoud is a cinematic inspiration for movie directors. Many movies have been filmed in Erfoud, including Prince of Persia, March or Die, and The Mummy. Arrive in Merzouga. Explore the beauty of the desert.

Day 07 Merzouga – Exploration of Sahara 

After breakfast you will explore desert by 4×4 and you will see nomad family and you will have lunch with . after that you will be back to the camp and Venture out on a desert camel trek to watch the sunset in the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Your Tuareg guide will share the secrets of the Sahara Desert. As you glide across the silent desert landscape there will be countless opportunities to photograph the endless rolling dunes.

Day 08 Merzouga –Dades-Skoura

Take the road to explore Merzouga’s desert scenery by piste. Go through Rissani. Going to Tinghir, explore and tour the village. Walk in the green fields and see how traditional Berbers live with their gardens of herbs, livestock, and henna plants.Later on we’ll Take the road through the Dades Valley back to Skoura.

Day 09 Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Take the road to visit Ouarzazate and its famous Kasbahs. Located just four hours from Marrakesh, Ouarzazate is the main Berber city in the south known for spectacular sunsets and dramatic mountain and desert scenery. Surrounded by breathtaking valleys, Ouarzazate was once crossing point for African traders seeking to reach northern cities in Morocco and Europe. Visit Ait Benhaddou. 32 km from Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou is situated on a hill along of Ouarzazate River. Lawrence of Arabia, Sodom and Gomorrah, and Jesus of Nazareth were filmed there. In recent years, controlled restoration has been carried out under the auspices of UNESCO. After visiting Ait Benhaddou, continue the road to Marrakesh and you will pass the olive groves of the Oued Zat as you ascend to the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. than Marrakech

Day 10 Marrakech Guided Historical

Marrakech Historical Tour: The Moroccan Gardens of Yves Saint Laurent and Koutoubia, Historic Sites, Monuments, the Grand Medina and its Lively Souks Visit the Majorelle Gardens. The Majorelle Gardens, previously the Jardin Bou Saf, bears its name from its original creator, Jacques Majorelle, the French expatriate artist who was born in Nancy, France, in 1886. Jacques Majorelle was the son of the celebrated Art Nouveau furniture designer Louis Majorelle. In 1947, the son opened his gardens to the public and, during this time, also painted a magnificent ceiling at La Mamounia, a five-star hotel with exquisite gardens and the place where Alfred Hitchcock wrote The Birds. See the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens.

Day 11 Marrakech, Casablanca

The Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakech. Experience the Jewish Mellah. Founded in 1558 by Moulay Abdallah, the Mellah district was designated as the Jewish quarter in Marrakech. Visit El Bahia Palace. The El Bahia Palace in Marrakech is a beautiful building and an excellent example of Eastern Architecture from the 19th century and represents trends and standards of the wealthy who lived at that time. Visit the Saadian Tombs. The Saadian tombs in Marrakech date back from the time of the Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur (1578-1603). The tombs were only recently discovered (in 1917) and were restored by the Beaux-Arts , Take the road  to Casablanca than arrive to your accommodation : breakfast & dinner .

 

Day 12 Casablanca Departure

Breakfast at your Hotel. Depending on your flight schedules, we’ll transfer you to the Mohammed V Airport.and help you with registration formalities and special flight requirements before your departure.
